Sun Belt Media: Week 10 (We All Take a Wild Stab)
November football has started and boy the first week didn’t disappoint. Louisiana-Monroe pulled off a shocking win over Georgia Southern in a game that left a massive impact on both divisions.
The Cajuns and Chants lost to top three teams, leaving voters a bit of a problem in the middle of the pack. Meanwhile, a highly underrated Battle for the Bottom took a wild turn with Texas State’s win over Georgia State.
So, let’s check out the damage that was left.

Going Up
For the second straight week, a Louisiana school pulling off an upset did more to hurt the other team than it did to help themselves in our power ranking. The Warhawks moved up one spot this week, but did get a nice boost in votes.
Troy reclaimed the top spot this week and is the second time to receive 100 points this season. On the opposite end, Texas State has pulled itself from the bottom of the cellar to the first step out of the basement after winning its second game(!) in a row.
Going Down
It’s been a rough ride for Georgia State. Losers of four in a row, the Panthers are now dead last in the Sun Belt. Up top, Georgia Southern moved from first to third following the surprising defeat.
