Troy Announces 2019 Baseball Schedule

The football regular season has sadly come to an end but we’re one step closer to seeing the Troy baseball team take the field again after a stellar 2018 campaign.

Troy released the 2019 baseball schedule on Monday, giving fans a chance to check out who will be coming to Troy and what kind of talent the Trojans will face on the road.

The schedule features 31 home games and three unique locations Troy will be visiting.

The season begins on February 15 with a four game home series against Central Michigan. Troy will host Jacksonville State and Southeastern Louisiana in the early portion of the season, as well.

Highlighting March, though, is a midweek neutral site tilt with SEC opponent Tennessee at the Hoover Met.

Troy plays only one true road non-conference series in 2019. The Trojans will travel to Ruston for a three game series with Louisiana Tech starting February 22.

The Trojans get a marquee home-and-home with Alabama during conference play season, one at Tuscaloosa on April 2 and then at Troy on May 8.

There is plenty of opportunity to build up another strong resume and reach the NCAA’s for a second consecutive year.
