Troy Leads Sun Belt with 23 All-Conference Selections
The Sun Belt has announced its All-Conference selections and individual honors as decided by the coaches and select media.
In total, Troy leads the conference in selections with 23. The All-First Team featured seven players, highlighted by running back BJ Smith.
Four players were placed on Second Team and eight players to third team. Each Sun Belt team had four honorable mentions, giving Troy a total of 23 selections.
Tyler Sumpter and Marcus Jones were dual selections for two different positions. Troy’s full list of honors is here:

Four members of Troy’s offensive line received honors and four defensive lineman received honors. Troy had an All-Conference selection at every position other than left tackle and mike linebacker.
Redshirt freshman Austin Stidham graded out above 90 at left tackle in at least eight games. At mike, underclassmen Carlton Martial and Justin Whisenhunt had to split time at the position.
